Proactive parent partnership

"At the end of the day, the most overwhelming key to a child’s success is the positive involvement of parents"

Parents are the first and the most powerful influence on their child’s learning, development, health and wellbeing. They are the child’s first role models with respect to values, appropriate behavior, beliefs, and traditions. Research has shown that children perform better in school if their parents are involved in their education.

At Legacy World School, we work together with parents to ensure that both home and school environments provide a mutually supportive framework for children’s learning and development.

Making children’s learning visible

Parents at Legacy World School get a real-time in-depth view of their child’s learning journey on the family app, a part of our learning ecosystem, through which teachers share photos, videos, notes, and voice recordings documenting the growth and development of a child.

Through student led conferences, exhibitions, and show and tell sessions, parents are provided a window into the learning methodology at Legacy World School. By involving them in the workings of the curriculum and program, parents better appreciate the value of play-based learning and the school’s vision and learn about the attitudes and skills that their children are developing.
